If anyone in the #FGC comes across threats of violence on social media, Please post links and screenshots here. Start holding folks accountable for their actions! Don’t trust ANY #FGC women period! I see them threatening and wishing death upon others in the scene over the election results! The same threats that would get a man… especially a black man in the gaming space a lifetime ban! I know the TO’s don’t want to really deal with this type of stuff and don’t blame them. But, TBH don’t wait to become a statistic of violence in a scene and lose all you built over loose mentally unstable cannons. Pay close attention to the FGC women and people they come off very violent lately. @TheHadou @Jebailey @BigEgaming @Texas_Showdown @Evo @DefendTheNorth @ecthrowdown

I stopped digging into predators and pedophiles in the #FGC because it became mentally and emotionally draining. There comes a point where constantly exposing the worst in people takes more out of you than it’s worth. The #FGC has, in my view, shown no meaningful desire to hold itself accountable. It has repeatedly protected reputations over principles, and because of that, I don’t believe it has earned a redemption arc. As for Mike, I have no issue with him personally. The reality is that not everyone is built to pursue uncomfortable truths regardless of the consequences. That isn’t necessarily a character flaw… it’s simply not who they are! There was only one @TheOnBlastShow. Whether it’s Mike, Technicals, Ernesto, or anyone else, they’re different people with different priorities, not about that style of truth, and different approaches. They shouldn’t be expected to do what I did, because that’s simply not who they are.

These are your thought leaders in the fighting game community. Especially on the western side of things They are predators, think they have the moral high ground, and they run cover for the degeneracy in the FGC. Notice how only 1 person replied to my sexual energy and church post yesterday. The saigado reference at least got 1 person to admit, hey nycfurby knows ball. That’s right. I know what I’m talking about. I’m not crazy. It’s getting more obvious people like Mike Hollow, JamessMK, Groypers, Psychoholics, technicals, Button Check, James Chen, C4, tampaneversleeps and many others, communicate with each other. They all create fake division. The FGC eats it up. That Sophie stream did not age well at all, and made the FGC look like degenerates that don’t have children’s best interest at heart. They withhold information. And have same side energy. I released a lot of names of predators in the fgc, and I took down the “revenge porn” (it’s not revenge porn btw.) You say you don’t want to see me burn, but the private DMs are another story. It’s funny. Im consistent in public and I’m consistent in private DMs I have no problem leaking out the full history of the DMs. He’s a snake. These people all work together to control the narrative. And it’s disgusting.

Yesterday reminded me, once again, that civility goes a long way… even in the #FGC. Too many conversations start with people talking AT each other instead of TO each other. But when you actually listen, you often find common ground. You may still disagree on ideas, opinions, or even lifestyles, and that’s okay. Respect doesn’t require complete agreement. Not everyone who sees the world differently is trying to ruin your life or wants you to fail. Most people are simply living their own lives, dealing with their own struggles, and your life isn’t the center of their world. That doesn’t mean they hate you, it just means they’re human, just like you. A little understanding, a little humility, and a little respect can accomplish far more than outrage ever will.

When I started @TheOnBlastShow, the goal was simple. I wanted a place to cover Mortal Kombat events, interview actors from the games, movies, and web series, throw in a little WWF nostalgia, entertain people, and share real-life lessons with some humor mixed in. Over time, though, the #FGC wanted something different. More drama. More outrage. More hate. More spite. And people tuned in for it… until someone they personally knew became the subject. Then suddenly I was labeled the one chasing drama, which couldn’t have been further from the truth. I didn’t come back to this community to expose rapists, pedophiles, thieves, people who exploited others, or other scumbags. The unfortunate reality is they were already there. After a while, I got exhausted waking up to messages almost every day about another person being sexually assaulted whether it was a man or a woman. That’s not the kind of community anyone should want. Life is too short to spend all your time trying to clean up problems that never should have existed in the first place. It’s not my job to fix the #FGC. All I can do is speak from my own experiences, offer what I believe are better paths forward, and let people decide for themselves. People are free to agree or disagree. They can listen or ignore what I say. That’s their choice. But my opinions come from decades of experience, and I have a track record that speaks for itself

Somebody, somewhere that he trusted should have told him he was on the wrong path. (James Chen tried?)

Yeah, I did console him. And I’d do it again tomorrow, next week, or whenever he needed it. Who the fuck are you to judge that? Just because I didn’t turn someone’s personal struggles into public content for internet points doesn’t mean I “went silent.” It means I respected his privacy like a decent human being. So what exactly are you trying to prove? Now… Do you want a résumé? The books I’ve written? The 100’s of games I’ve worked on? The thousands of dollars I’ve put into tournament pots over the years? The players I’ve sponsored? The flights I’ve paid for to get people to events like EVO? I believe @KHRattlehead from the MK scene can attest to that, and so can @AULMani from his phenomenal Killer Instinct run. Meanwhile, what have you actually done besides sit behind a keyboard pretending you’re the authority on everyone else’s character? So what are you really on about? Because from where I’m standing, this looks less like accountability and a whole lot more like you talking out of your ass. You want more?

I said this to the #FGC years ago: arcade sticks should’ve been the standard from day one. Now everyone’s melting down over leverless controllers. Funny how standards only become important when they stop benefiting you. Personally, I’ll always rate someone higher if they can perform at the highest level on an arcade stick. That’s just my opinion. Look at baseball. Kids can use aluminum bats because they’re developing, but once you reach the professional level, it’s wood bats only. Why? Standardization. The equipment is the same for everyone, so the competition is about the players, not who has the biggest equipment advantage. The #FGC had decades to establish a universal tournament standard and chose not to. Instead, it kept changing with the latest hardware trend and torn them in organs were taking kickbacks from the manufacturers . So watching people suddenly demand “competitive integrity” now is a little ironic. You don’t have to agree with me, but don’t pretend this debate came out of nowhere. Some of us were saying the same thing years ago.

It’s so weird for me to see people in the #FGC literally watch the scene get hijacked, by people that would rather forcefully instill their chaotic at best moral standings on others rather than just play video games. Standards, which are very selective when they conveniently benefit themselves. Then they will go completely against the grain of their supposed beliefs when they think nobody’s looking 👀

Since you always manage to come off as a condescending prick to me 100% of the time, I usually just ignore you but, I’ll will still entertain this one time. I’ve run events both online and offline, sponsored players and sent them to tournaments over the years, given away thousands of dollars in pot bonuses, given away 1000’s in free limited edition “OBS” merch with @DarKNaTaS007 worked on plenty of video games ie: Mortal Kombat, written many books on how to master those games, and been a friend to many players while helping them with personal life issues along the way. Is that enough for you, or do I need to start collecting character references and sworn affidavits from people you’ve never heard of before you’ll allow me to have an opinion?

@jamessmk Buying a lever to have an advantage over pad is no different. The game didn't come with that. You bought it so you could have better gameplay. If we're trying to standardize then just don't allow controllers outside the ones attached to the console you're on.
