Actions of the day, my first trade was a stop out because of retailing my SL to fast. The first trade is a valid trade if I wouldn't have mismanaged it with retailing my SL not according to my rules. The second trade was unnecessary entering insight a choppy market. Trading is the best teacher ever, it always grounds you while being in a winning streak.

I find trading so fascinating because it has the ability to give me my time back. I’d like a nice sports car and stuff but I’d rather be able to randomly jump in the pool at 3pm. That’s the real goal. Having the freedom to do things you couldn’t do otherwise.

You size your winnings differently from your capital. That's how you give them back. Cash you just won feels like the casino's money, so you bet it recklessly. Your hard-earned principal you'd never gamble that way. The profit, sure. Traders call it the house money effect. The market doesn't know which dollars you're attached to. A dollar of profit and a dollar of principal carry identical risk. Kill the bias in code. Size every position off total equity, full stop. The bot never sees house money, it sees the account. Then you can go to the gym and it won't get cocky with a good week while you're gone.
