Joel “Willis Reed” Embiid. The Willis Reed Game was almost 56 years ago to the day. Only difference between that game and this one for Joel is that Joel didn’t give the team an emotional advantage, he gave them an on-court one. Exaggerations asides, Embiid deserves all the flowers for this Game 7.

Yeah Joel has missed more games due to injury than just about anyone, but also I'm pretty sure no player in recent memory has played through pain more than he has. And still been so effective? Nah. Shoutout to the big fella; he completely changed that series.
