Living in a nursing home shouldn’t mean giving up everyday freedoms. I just signed a bill allowing seniors living in nursing homes to consume alcohol - so that everyone can enjoy happy hour!

@Itz_Exp123 @Ghost_Eclipse_ @Pirat_Nation Smoking causes harm to others as an inheret property of it thats an unavoidable byproduct (secondhand smoke) of its normal use whereas alcohol harm is from misuse and risky behaviour. Alcohol usage in high risk context is illegal like drunk driving as it puts others at risk.

Parliament has passed the UK’s Tobacco and Vapes Bill to create the first smoke-free generation. From 2027 the legal age to buy cigarettes and tobacco will rise by one year every single year. Anyone born on or after 1 January 2009 will never be legally able to purchase them in their lifetime. Current adult smokers are completely unaffected, this only targets future generations.

@Ghost_Eclipse_ @Pirat_Nation Smoking is not just bad for the one smoking. Its terrible for those around it, the envionrment, animals etc. It sticks to people, puts a huge strain on healthcare, huge fire risk etc. Similar reason to why drunk driving is illegal. It puts others at risk.

@geekedout_j @heavensentsliit Facts, i've been tapering myself and just choosing flower around maybe 15-20%, so smoking what some may call mids but it's really more about the bud/thc quality, over quantity of thc. I think thats just my biggest problem fr is how strong everything is getting
