There are like three guys in the league who do designed runs and are still legitimately great passers.
Are Mahomes, Caleb, Dak, Purdy, Darnold, etc. not good enough archetypes to win with?

@bigarashad @CharlesRobinson I wouldn't say he was "immobile" but he wasn't *that* mobile. It was average and not to the point of being an asset to create/extend or designed runs.

Interesting nugget from @CharlesRobinson on his conversations with the #Steelers front office.
They expressed frustration over continued lack of mobile QBs. Trubisky, Pickett, now Rodgers.

Sources: The #Cowboys requested and have now interview #Steelers OLBs coach Denzel Martin for the same role on their staff. Martin has been in Pittsburgh since 2016 and worked his way up to OLBs coach, where he’s seen TJ Watt go from a 1st-round pick to one of the NFL’s best (tying the sack record) — while also helping develop Alex Highsmith into key contributor, among others.

Just talked with Nick he doesn’t care about the trade smoke. He’s ready to just be viewed and treated as a full time starter whether it’s in Pittsburgh or elsewhere.
Pitt needs to decide what they wanna do with that edge room. Nick Herbig is a starter no more pitch counts.

There’s an incredibly easy decision to be made here, but the decision makers care more about names and contract numbers than talent.

@BreidenFehoko Puts the Steelers in a tough spot, 51 is a damn good but they can’t justify playing him over 56 and they damn sure can’t justify playing him over 90. Someone’s gotta get traded, good news is 33 is coming along so the loss won’t hurt as bad but losing 51 is gonna be tough
