Shlep has caused harm to every part of Roblox. I oftentimes say people say “he was protecting children” or “Roblox platform changes weren’t because of him”. He wasn’t protecting anyone, he just wants money, he could have let it go or have switched to another platform with way worse problems like Discord but nope, it must be Roblox. Additionally why does he post all videos on youtube? Now for the second statement, how come as soon as he started posting Roblox suddenly gets all these child violations. Shlep has caused Roblox to do platform changes which hurt developers, UGC creators and content creators which had Roblox as their primary source of income. Reportedly in the hospital right now… >I watched the entire video and here is a summary of his side: He claims three key things were left out of Ren's document: 1. After he comforted Ren while she was crying in the hotel room, Ren asked to kiss him first. He interpreted this as mutual consent. This was not included in the document. 2. Ren claimed she looked up that lube was needed on her own. >Zeal says Ren actually told a friend about their encounter (against his wishes), and that friend suggested it. >He couldn't go buy it because he was already headed to a pre-scheduled meeting. >Ren confirmed this to him that night. 3. I know many developers and contributors care deeply about this project, and I regret that this situation is affecting them. Ren and I had a personal relationship, and we met up at RDC. From my perspective and records, those interactions were mutual and consensual at that time. We continued communicating even after the conference, and there was no indication that boundaries had been crossed in the way the document states. This is reflected in our conversations before, during, and after the events. With recognition that people can experience situations differently, I want to emphasize that I do not want to dismiss how someone else may feel. There are important parts of this situation that are not fully represented publicly. After these events, private and sensitive information about our interactions was shared with multiple people without my consent, despite me expressing discomfort with that. This created a significant breach of trust and contributed heavily to the breakdown of communication between us. Following RDC, the situation became more complicated as more people became involved and private matters were shared beyond what I was comfortable with. This led to a breakdown in trust and communication, and I made the decision to step back and create distance. I also want to acknowledge that I did not handle every part of this situation perfectly. There were moments where I could have communicated better and acted more carefully, and I take responsibility for that.
