@tombennett71 1. I’m campaigning on education because I was elected by thousands of young people in constituency to do so. 2. I’m not suggesting abandoning exams, simply reassessing how much emphasis is put on them over other aspects of education, especially post 2015.

@IzzyGarbuttMYP 1. How do you know you are the voice of your generation? 2. Exams are the fairest way to assess learning. What’s your counter argument?

A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to speak at our local headteachers conference. Here, I discussed the importance of youth voice in schools and fed back ideas from our local youth cabinet about how teachers can make a more inclusive, meaningful and supportive environment.
