I'll formally answer your question: I assert that such an NDA would have done so because it's a reasonable assumption (since most NDAs preclude any public discussion of the termination and related facts) and because my understanding of Ms. West's statements about the NDA implied the same. If you have a copy of the NDA feel free to publish it, and if my assumptions were mistaken I'd be happy to confess error.
While you are here, can you answer these questions:
1) Did you have a romantic relationship with Ms. West?
1a) If so, when did it begin and when did it end?
2) Did she break up with you, as she claimed?
3) Did you ask her to move to Washington, DC?
4) Did you ask Rep. Spartz to hire her into her office?
5) Do you know how Ms. Spartz became aware that you two had broken up?
6) When did you become aware that Ms. West had made a wrongful termination complaint?
7) Did you offer Ms. West any money in exchange for her dropping that complaint?

To the naysayers labeling this a political "hit job" before an election:
It is widely recognized within the $MMTLP, $MMAT, and #NBH community that Cynthia West is a shareholder and a valued member of our movement. We remain grateful for her efforts to solicit congressional aid and bring transparency to a situation that Washington, D.C., has failed to address.
The matter involving @RepThomasMassie and Cynthia West is unfortunate.
At its core, this involves the ex-wife of a veteran and a mother seeking help following the regulatory financial fraud perpetrated against many military veterans. To this day, Representative Massie has not helped his constituents, many of whom are veterans, obtain transparency regarding the actions of the SEC and FINRA.
Instead, he chose to involve himself in a romantic relationship with a victim of this financial fraud.
That alone demonstrates unethical behavior and poor judgment. If Representative Massie chose to bury the truth of his conduct using tax dollars, then he is no different than the many politicians in Washington who lack self-control and use hush money to make their problems disappear.
As far as the MMTLP community is concerned, our mission remains unchanged: we continue to seek the full transparency that Washington so often lacks.

It’s sad that a week before this election people are making false and unsubstantiated allegations about me in an obvious attempt to influence the outcome of this election. All of the claims of inappropriate conduct are false. I’ve never offered anyone money in exchange for their silence. I report all of my farm income, including cash, to the IRS. There are no ethics claims filed against me, nor have there ever been any claims filed against me in my 14 years in office. I have consulted legal counsel and we are considering all options.
