@jrlikeswhisky @STL_Stats_Facts They’re simply underperforming. Herrera is batting .202 over the last 30 games and .143 over the last 7. He’s a prime example of the struggle currently. The rest of the lineup is kinda following the path he’s on at the moment.

The Cardinals have now hit into 12 double plays with runners on 1st and 2nd and no outs. That is the 2nd most in the MLB. When they have 1st and 2nd with no outs, the Cardinals actually have more double plays (12) than they do hits (11). Rally killers 👎🏼

4 months ago, Jordan Walker had a .500 OPS in Spring Training. He had a .595 OPS in the previous 2 seasons and there were serious questions about whether this guy would ever figure it out. To see where he was 4 months ago to where he is now - an all-star, an MVP candidate, the MLB RBI leader, and the Home Run Derby champion... it legit makes me emotional. I'm so happy for this young man right here. He's had to endure a lot to get here, but he's earned every bit of this.

Honestly, everybody should have known it was a wrap when Jordan walked up with the backwards cap, bling around his neck, and the Iron Man bat. That was just too much aura and nobody else had a chance
