@RammyaMathew @TheBMA @doctor_katie was told continuous service for GPs “hadn’t been tested in court”. In a truly awful time - this made things so much worse. I wish you all the luck in sorting this out.

@RammyaMathew @TheBMA @doctor_katie They said GP work was “private”. It was truly awful having to fight for sick pay whilst going through intensive chemo. The discussion was very anti-dr. The BMA did help but only by getting them to make “an exception”.

I've been a GP ever since I qualified. I thought I worked for the NHS but am finding out, caught in the middle of a ICB restructure - that I'm not classed as an NHS employee.

@edintravel Morning!! Big delays coming from Holyrood Park towards Pollock Halls and the Commonwealth. Not sure why, not at the roadworks yet. Too late for us, but worth avoiding if you can!

@JamieDrama @RossBeagle2 @edintravel Lights stuck definitely making it a whole lot worse! Always relieved when I come to Edintravel’s twitter feed and see other folk have reported the same issue.

@RossBeagle2 @edintravel @edintravel the temporary lights are now stuck on red in each direction this morning, adding to the chaos. Noticeable that there is no-one on site attending to the works despite the severe delays this is causing. Maybe someone should re-think the temporary layout….

@edintravel The Willowbrae Road works (at Esso) changed to TTLs over the weekend. Queue on Milton Road West is currently back to the Mountcastle Drive North/South junction.

@Statsjamiefact @drsarahtennant Many BC services try to run a 1-stop shop. So after my mammography (same day) a Consultant Radiologist did my ultrasound and biopsies and then told me I had cancer. I’ll always be grateful for her skill and empathy. (The Radiographer and Asst Radiographers I saw were also great!)
