Hey, we're not complaining about "most translations." 99% of the content in most games is translated correctly. We're talking about that very important 1% of text in which, for whatever reason, the localizer decided to add: - Memes - Contemporary American politics - His or her own ideas about what gender some ambiguous character is (literal fanfiction) - Censorship not required by law(editorial decisions done by the localizer) Maybe just maybe the reason people are complaining about these translations is because they are actually really not good. Otherwise no sane person would go out of their way to start learning Japanese or start modding the game to fix the translations. JUST MAYBE. I am so nice to these people that I am willing to even forgive rushed translations that sometimes take things too litterally while ignoring the conversation context. Deadlines sometimes get tough. However this is no excuse for FANFICTION in my piece of media.
