@OliverKay Premier League teams have had to adapt to the league, schedule & difficulty of every game. Even Pep’s City have had to change. PSG would have to as well if they played in England & didn’t have their schedule made far easier by the league they play in
English

So much of the football in the Premier League this season has been dull, attritional and regressive — football as reimagined by number-crunchers and set-piece analysts.
What PSG are producing under Luis Enrique is bold and expansive, with marauding full backs like Hakimi and Mendes, wonderfully gifted midfielders like Vitinha and Joao Neves and mesmerising, incisive wingers like Doué and Kvaratskhelia. Against Liverpool last night, as so often against Premier League opposition since the start of 2025, the contrast was stark

@JAM7104 @AFCAMDEN @LTD_Syndicate Yeah agree, remember when they equalised that a second away goal would kill us (and it felt inevitable)
English

@GaryBeecham2 @AFCAMDEN @LTD_Syndicate Yep only dropped Henry - which didn’t make any sense, lost our legs v Chelsea second half
English

@JAM7104 @AFCAMDEN @LTD_Syndicate Actually can’t remember but my memory has always been that we threw it a bit.
English

@AFCAMDEN @LTD_Syndicate If we did what Mikel did v Southampton against United, we’d have a CL trophy in 2004 - suicide going full tilt v United
English

@LTD_Syndicate No minerals. Most probably not old enough to remember the week we had vs United and Chelsea in April 2004

Ain't this the fella who gives away tickets to blonde birds who he finds attractive 🤣🤣🤣

Clocking every single one of you suggesting Arteta out. Don’t let me see you at the parade in May

@TheNewsAgents @lewis_goodall I don’t think anyone is blind to the issues Starmer or the government have had but it was just a hit job & was completely unnecessary it just went over old ground
English

"They consider themselves educated progressives, they call MAGA & Reform radicalised - I think online life does that to people of all stripes"
@lewis_goodall responds after receiving 'sh*t' from online Starmer supporters for his Ch4 doc ‘Keir Starmer: Where Did It All Go Wrong?’
English

@robbohuyton Thats not based on a tabloid newspaper? Liverpools fans don’t despise tabloid newspapers? Which bit was wrong?
English

@JAM7104 @lewis_goodall the UK is activity involved in the conflict by allowing bombing runs to take place from UK soil. Keir Starmer is a liar.
English

Since I recorded this interview the Israeli government has confirmed a major expansion of the invasion of southern Lebanon.

‘You’re saying there’s no alternative to how Israel is operating in Southern Lebanon right now?’ @Lewis_Goodall puts the mounting number of Israeli strikes on Lebanon to IDF spokesperson Major Doron Spielman.
English

@lewis_goodall That doc was pretty poor btw, however the us conservative thing was brilliant - but seriously, Michael Gove….
English

@lewis_goodall Kind of like, since you recorded most your C4 hit job on Keir Starmer he’s made one of the most sensible foreign policy decision Britain has made in decades

@10akhil @DarrenArsenal1 It’s because it just feeds into the narrative of this team being unable to get over the line on the big occasions & it ramps the pressure up on us
English

Probably, because as we all know, we have had these performances this season, some we have got away with, some we have held on and scraped through, and some weve lost.
We have been capable of these types of performance every game.

The level of disappointment doesn’t quite feel right for a league cup final. It’s a strange feeling. Maybe it’s the performance and not turning up second half, I don’t know. But I don’t think a league cup game has ever impacted my mind as much as this one.
