I've not read a ton of sci-fi, but my daughter (12yo) has been reading Phillip K Dick, and so on her advice, I just read 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep'. What a wonderful little book. Not how I imagined it would be, and really not at all like the (also excellent) movie.

My weird book time: 'The Secret of Mankind' (1895) with a visit to Mercury, its inhabitants and their advanced technology; 'Paradise Found' (1885) with Atlantis, The Garden of Eden, Avalon and Hyperborea at the North Pole; 'Atla: A Story of the Lost Island' (1886) about Atlantis.

I was up before the sun this morning on my day off to get back to work reorganizing my library room. I've made a lot of work for myself but I think it will be worth it. While I organize I will continue to share a few photos of notable matching sets as I move them around.

This arrived today: ‘Theory of Spirit Science’ by Jung-Stilling, published in 1808. About ghosts, phantoms, premonitions, poltergeists and ‘The White Lady’, a mysterious apparition in whom I’ve taken a special interest. The illustration depicts her in all her etheric glory.

When I was 12 I discovered the oeuvre of H.P. Lovecraft. I was instantly enthralled. This is a small part of what I collected since then.

@memizon @Essexorcist Couldn't agree more, a dying breed here too. I was allowed in to a (condemned for too many books in the bldg) shop in Portsmouth NH recently, and did some old fashion book mining. It was a "singular experience."

The cosmos works in mysterious ways. Last week someone drew my attention to the astral messages of H.C. Randall-Stevens. His books from the 1920s are extremely rare. I already had one but today found this, The Chronicles of Osiris, first edition, 1926. About Atlantis and Lemuria.
