@FixingEducation Couldn’t disagree more. It is a team and the team needs to filter everything through “what’s best for the students?”

Principal schedules a teacher observation. Teacher does an amazing job. Principal notices some amazing strategies and tells teacher ‘for the next PD, I want you to help train other teachers on how to also do an amazing job.’ Teacher needs to RESPECT their time and expertise and ask for compensation. If principal states we can’t pay, teacher should say ‘I will not be providing the training.’
