4M$ in case of something that most likely will not happen today A trader placed 100k$ with a 2% chance that today US strikes Iran Follow his actions via this fastest TG bot - polycule.trade/join/qy7jmn What could this mean? Did a millionaire decide to try his 'luck' or does he have some information no one else knows? Very soon we will be able to find out, but personally I hope his bet ends in a loss

I mentioned a random brand of dog food in a private conversation. 10 minutes later, I had an ad for it. It’s not a coincidence, and it’s not magic. Your phone is "shadow-logging" your life through 5 specific settings you’ve likely never touched. Here is how to stop the eavesdropping:

@Jake_Andrews8 @SawyerMerritt Tesla’s Autopilot (lane assist + cruise) which is way better than most other brands, is in the default package. It’s just the totally Full Self Driving that’s now subscription only.

@SawyerMerritt Huge L. I don't care how advanced FSD is, a $50k car with no included lane keep assist is incredibly stupid.

NEWS: Tesla has officially discontinued Autopilot in the U.S. and Canada. All new car purchases now come standard with Traffic-Aware Cruise Control. The online configurator has now been updated to allow buyers to choose the $99/month FSD subscription, while still offering the option to purchase FSD outright for $8,000 until February 14th. New Tesla vehicles purchases still come with a 30-day free trial of FSD (Supervised).

When your friend tells you about the rental they bought using their life savings. That rents for $2,000/mo with a $1,600/mo payment. That they think will cash flow $400/mo….

@TheTrumpSwede @ChrisMartin1961 How did she end up there? Sweden offered a safe haven for Jews during WW2, most significantly for 7,000 Danish Jews who were transported there in October 1943 after a planned German deportation, and 900 Norwegian Jews in 1942.

I’ve been thinking about this “Alligator Alcatraz” concentration camp down in Florida. As a student of the Concentration Camps of WWII, I wrote an entire graduate thesis on the psychology of those working there, I see many parallels to Nazi Germany in the early 1930’s. 1/3

@BradRTorgersen The “tariffs” they calculated foreign countries have against America, is just a number based on total imports minus exports to the U.S/Divided by 2 for some reason. That is the % they claim is a “Foreign Tariff”. It was never charged by a foreign nation.

If tariffs are a terrible idea and no sane politician would use them, why do 90% of America's "partner" nations use tariffs against America? I'm really trying to understand why an economic tool that's been used by other countries for a long time, is suddenly bad. 🫤

Here is the raw footage of my Tesla going through the wall. Not sure why it disengages 17 frames before hitting the wall but my feet weren’t touching the brake or gas.

@mtm14 @mollyfleck We also park the truck upstream and block the lane so the ambulance personnel can safely care for the patient without getting run over. Also, if the car catch fire or the victims need extrication, the truck has the equipment for that.

@mollyfleck I think at least in terms of roadway accidents if an EV is involved they have to respond to assure the EMT’s are safe to touch the vehicle to attend to victims. Fire has training with the batteries and risk of electrocution. An EMT told me that.

@stevexyze @jeremyjudkins_ No. It downloads automatically to your car, when complete you get a prompt to either pick “install now” or schedule a time for it to happen. Most set it for when parked overnight. Some software updates can take up to 80 minutes (map update)

@jeremyjudkins_ So if you’re driving through the hood and take a piss at a gas station when an update starts you just need to sit there till it’s done?

Tesla made a big mistake. They dropped two hyped updates to our Cybertruck and Model S at the exact same time. Obviously we hit install immediately, but now have no way to drive to dinner. Thankfully we do have a gas powered vehicle for emergency situations like this.

This is the scariest chart I’ve ever made. This is what it looks like when a country is heading toward a financial precipice. Each color shows $1T getting added to the national debt. Not that long ago, it took six years to add a bar. We’re now adding one every 90-120 days. The explosion of debt has been the only bipartisan phenomenon of my lifetime. For us conservatives, we can’t blame it on just Biden and Obama. For you Democrats, you can’t put this on just Trump. It’s both parties, all presidents, and every Congress. The acceleration started under George W. Bush. Bush went into 2002 with less than $6T of debt. Thanks to GWOT military spending and tax cuts we probably couldn’t afford, $6T grew to $7T in 23 months, $8T in another 21 months, and $9T in 23 months. Then the Great Recession hit. We added the next trillion in 13 months, crossing $10T for the first time in American history. And we haven’t looked back since. During the second Obama term, with spending reined in by the Tea Party movement, annual deficits reduced to less than $1T, and growth in the debt slowed down. At the end of Obama’s tenure, it took nearly 20 months to go from $19T to $20T. That would be the last time it took a full year to add a trillion dollars to the debt. In 2017, a real-estate developer got inaugurated as president. And, if there’s one thing we all know—and love!—about real-estate investors, it’s that they understand the value of leverage. Under Trump, even as the economy surged, deficits grew, and national debt once again spiraled. We ended 2019 with a little over $24T in debt. Then Covid hit, along with consumer stimulus, PPP loans, massive government spending, and reduced tax receipts. Over just two months in 2020—April and May—we added $2T to the national debt. Ever since, we’ve been adding $1T every 160 or so days. With Biden in the White House and a narrowly divided Congress, we’re now adding $1T to the debt every three to four months. It took just 91 days to go from $32T to $33T. 104 days to get to $34T. And it’s not slowing down. Biden has another 300+ days in office this term. When he or Trump enters their second respective term in office in 2025, the debt will likely be above $37T. Where does it end? As deficits continue to pile up and borrowing costs remain relatively high compared to where they were over the previous 20 years, how is any of this sustainable?

Why I will never switch from my EV to one of these new gas cars. 1. Range anxiety - I am used to being on 100% every morning. With a gas car, I might not have enough gas to get to work and have to waste time going to recharge it. 2. Big maintenance problem - After 100k-200k miles you have to swap or rebuild the engine. That’s $10-20k on an old car. This is crazy! 3. Risk of fire - Gas cars have ~100x the likelihood of catching fire compared to EVs. You literally have a full tank of explosive liquid right underneath your back seats. No thank you! 4. Underdeveloped charging infrastructure - Every home has a power outlet. Every AirBnb has one too. No matter how remote. With a gas car, you have to go find special charging stations instead of charging while you sleep. Sometimes, the nearest one could be 50 miles away! 5. Environmental impact - Did you know it takes about 10x as much mining and pumping to get the oil needed to fuel a gas car over its lifetime than the materials needed to build an electric battery? Insane! 6. Range issues - Did you know that if you turn on aircon, charge your devices in the car and blast the infotainment system, your gas car range can go down by 20% or more?! 7. Cost - The average gas car costs 20% more than a Tesla. It’s just too expensive for mass adoption. You have to be a real nutcase fan boy to switch to a gas car!

How do you “retire” on #Bitcoin? Do you sell 4% a year, borrow against it, lend out you #Bitcoin (when that is actually possible). How are you supposed to borrow against it and pay the interest. I’m assuming you have absolutely no income. Serious answers appreciated. Or jokes.

#Celsius Creditors I have an important update. I know I said I hosted my last Space on Celsius last year, but after receiving a surprise gift from Celsius & #Ionic we need to do a Space. I’ll add a link to the Space in this thread. Set a reminder after watching the video…
