Looking forward to presenting at the @OrthoInstitute Keele/Oswestry annual cartilage symposium this week. Thinking through the opportunities we have for joint health preservation as we age, become injured etc ... In addition to @JApproach for OA management in later life, we have the @OPTIKNEE initiative for post ACL injury from the brilliant @jwhittak_physio et al. We have so many more opportunities to do the simple things well

Fantastic trip to @Bupa HQ in London today with my @JApproach hat on! Excitedly planning the next phase of our journey to deliver better care to people with knee #osteoarthritis We need to treat the whole person & provide: 🧠 Psychological support - to achieve buy & & sustained change in behaviour 🏋🏼‍♀️ Properly dosed exercise - to achieve physiologic change 🎓Education - so that people understand what’s happing to them & what positive changes are possible 🥙Nutrition guidance - what’s helpful to eat & what’s not That’s what we do 👌🏼😊
