@Chabotsports @DadrickMabones I’m not sure he is a bad manager, what I do think is that he’s a bad manager for this team. They need passion, swagger and some confidence and I just don’t see that coming from him. Of course we dont see him in the clubhouse. Margin for error is just so thin with this team.

@DadrickMabones I think he does a good job managing the pen and pinch hitters. No energy is very true and I think that is frustrating

I have 2 major gripes with Quatraro at this point in the year
1 benching Caglianone unnecessarily
2 not crashing out on shit like this and showing some passion for his guys
He needs to rally up the clubhouse and get himself tossed

@royalsminors @vikesroyal Just feels like all our lefties hit this wall. Either it’s a talent thing or it’s coaching at the higher levels. It’s baffling that they all struggle, even our righties struggle.

@royalsminors @vikesroyal Why does it feel like these guys hit lefties in the MiLB then can’t when they get to the bigs. Is it simply competition? I find that hard to believe. Roccaforte has handled them pretty well until this year. He hit .252/.396/.387 (.783 ops) last year between A+ and AA.

@vikesroyal I still think probably mid June but wouldn’t surprise me if he’s forcing the issue right now.
Already have a lefty CF on the big league roster and Rocc can’t hit lefties too well. So not sure there’s a path to KC this year barring injury.

@royalsclubhouse I mean, does it? Not trying to be a jerk…but the business model appears to work. There doesn’t seem to be a desire to win. I’m sure he “wants to win”, but is he passionate about winning?? I’m no so sure…

@royalsclubhouse Tonight, the Royals played the lineup everyone is calling for. One run on six hits. There are no heroes out there right now. They’re losing with Cags and Carter and they’re losing without Cags and Carter. Six of seven now. Season low eight under .500. No heroes.

@DugoutMantis @JaredKollerKC @KCRjhawk How do you think Cags & Jensen feel being pulled every time they face a LHP. I would bet they are not bought in to Q. It shows a lack of confidence and is hurting their development. You can’t look those two in the eye and say it’s analytics when Vinnie plays against every LHP.

Matt Quatraro is not actually getting fired midseason. He’s executing the front office’s offseason game plan, the other coaches are aligned with his decisions and a firing won’t inspire a clubhouse that he hasn’t lost. Sorry #Royals fans, not saying it’s right, but it is reality.
