Center fielder Pete Crow-Armstrong and the Chicago Cubs are in agreement on a six-year, $115 million contract extension, sources tell ESPN. The deal starts in 2027 and does not include a club option, allowing Crow-Armstrong to hit free agency before his age-31 season.
@Gavinair512@CubsZone He looked better than Assad this spring, and is solid out of the bullpen people forget he wasn’t bad out of the pen when he has to fill in for 3 injured starting pitchers some guys are just meant for the pen
@mevapagina@bearszn@Schultz_Report That’s really not on him tbh, it’s more so that we have a 29th ranked defense that every team can just drive down the field on us all game
Former Bears S Kevin Byard had very high praise for QB Caleb Williams:
“I expect him to be one of the top QBs, if not top 2 or 3, in the league. He’s got some Super Bowls in his sights as well.” 👀

@CubsZone@MLBBruceLevine Nice man. Fucking retard can never stay healthy. Why the fuck are you playing to death for ur shitty third world country when you’re getting paid tens of millions? #nuke
Cade Horton fired off arguably the most dominant outing of anyone this Spring with 10 K over 5.0 IP
The Cubs sophomore starter generated 21 whiffs and leaned heavily on his changeup to neutralize Cleveland’s lefty heavy lineup
@SiLKxNASTY@312SportsCards1 We were the 29th ranked defense with them y’all love to settle with mid they were ass, slow and terrible in coverage it was time to move on
