@Exalted_Speed Editorial literally gave no reason why MJ was with him and didn't dump him (especially after the fake kids disappeared) to be with the love of her life. Except Stockholm Syndrome. I mean he wasn't a nice person, he gaslit MJ, he tried to control her, etc. It didn't make sense.

If I had to be honest Paul was probably the worst Spider-man character...ever created? Hyperbole on some level but with WHAT HAS BEEN WRITTEN and done with him I think he's just been one of the biggest misfires in comics just because of how important they tried to make him....

@Brizksie Does anyone think anyone running Marvel and forcing "Paul" down our throats will do any hard thinking about why this character was so despised and why there is universal rejoicing at a comic death? Or is this just another example of Editorial trolling Spidey readers for the LOLZ.

@richjohnston Perhaps, but there is a reason fans hated him even beyond being a forced reason for keeping MJ/Peter apart. The writing itself painted him as a gaslighter/manipulator of MJ's feelings. Her dumping him, as written, was cathartic for HER. No reader is going to shed tears for Paul.

@empatheticcain I think its important to note that Bruce wants and expects her to be the best. That's why she was given the BG mantle before she could speak/read, given her own bat-cave, he did training with her we've never seen with Steph, Damien, etc.

@TomTaylorMade Isnt't being the World's Greatest Detective enough? Batman is already good at so many things it's crazy. Besides he would be the first to say his favored child Cass (aka the only one he gave her own Batcave to) is a better fighter than him, given how she was raised.

As bad as it is with King writing even he can't screw up the Lois/MJ dynamic. Those are two characters you could definitely see being BFFs if they weren't in different universes.

@SpiderMan_Newz This only works if he's treated as he should be treated. With nobody caring much he's dead. If we have issues of MJ mourning and regretting kicking him to the curb then its just more of the same (using Paul to break doen Mary Jane).

Such a varied filmography (more than Bogart let's be real) and the telling fact is that every major director wanted him for their movies-even years after his retirement.

Baseball is the only sport I know where even casual fans know who players from the 20s and 30s were (Ruth, Gehrig, etc), hard-core fans obsess about stats from decades and decades ago, and 68 years later NYers still talk about the Brooklyn Dodgers & curse Walter O'Malley.

There really should be a Westerns channel that makes "new westerns" the way Hallmark makes Christmas romance movies. It's been one of the most staples of fiction/film and television since the beginning of cinema (literally "The Great Train Robbery" in 1903).

The Twin Peaks pilot is as perfect as television gets. And looking back on it, few film/TV media has ever shown as realistic grief as it did when someone you loved (or even someone you were acquainted with) dies. In a lot of TV shows, characters are "over it" by the next episode.

@SoldierOfGod48 @BDJK47 @eyyankees The Pirates are NOT going to trade the current face of their franchise who has 3 years left on his rookie deal and is a generational talent for minor leaguers like Dominquez or Jones who can't even make the NYY big club roster or Gil/Warren who are #4-5 in the Yankee rotation.

According to Jon Heyman, the #Yankees are hopeful in their efforts to acquire Paul Skenes at some point. They are encouraged that Skenes would also have interest in them. Heyman went on to add that New York was prepared to offer Pittsburgh four top prospects at last years trade deadline.
