For the first time in over 30 years, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin is now without it's iconic spin function. All references to the spinning have been removed across the queue and even the wheel itself. The ride's spinning is now automatic and no longer controlled by the rider.

The spinning aspect has been removed from the attraction with little fanfare. The vehicle now “auto spins” in certain sections of track. It was a surprise to guests and everyone looked confused as the wheel is still present.

You’ve seen Tokyo DisneySea’s iconic Mount Prometheus, but have you seen the other side? Disney sculpted the backside to make it appear much smaller than the front. Massive brooding volcano from one side, craggily New England coastal hill from the other! Tokyo FTW.

It’s always kinda funny seeing theme park takes from people who aren’t hyper obsessed with the industry like we are. Like yeah man this insanely huge and expensive fan concept based on one franchise would definitely do numbers against the other seven major parks in Orlando

Still blows my mind what they did with Galaxy's edge. This was a no brainer but they wanted everyone to just forget about Episodes 1-6.

Enjoying the TEA Inspire conference, celebrating so many amazing projects, including Epic Universe. Wanted to share an update on a personal project I've been working on over the past year to create a fun map for the park. Hoping to finish it up in the near future! #epicuniverse

Typhoon Lagoon's Shark Reef went from crystal-clear waters teeming with fish to concrete slabs covered in cheap chairs. It was a difference-maker that separated Disney from competitors. It's this type of apparent cost-cutting that upsets true fans. Does anyone else remember?

Cinderella Castle at the Magic Kingdom has had some different looks over the years. Some temporary, and some seasonal. In their own way, each of them was kind of cool, even though we hated some of them at the time. 😆 🏰

I find it remarkable we still don't fully know which kind of ride system Encanto will use, just that it's a dark ride.

What’s a 3D animated movie that would’ve looked 10x better in a hand-drawn 2D style?

Painted background. Pinocchio is an Italian story set in Tuscany but features a German-style town in Disney's 1940 movie. Gustaf Tenggren developed it after the medieval Bavarian town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber's cozy, half-timbered look.
