The Theas Gala was a culmination of 8 years of dreaming. When I first saw the idea for Epic Universe, I knew it was going to be a winning project. I designed and had most of the pins I was wearing made to represent each land. #epicuniverse #theaawards

@nono95117101 I wish, Universal has strict NDA policies so I’m limited on what I’m able to share from the concept process. There were literally hundreds of versions explored by multiple designers building off each other to get the manor to where it is today.

@tommyhawkins In the book "Designing Disney" by John Hench, he talks about them choosing red for sidewalks because when placed next to the landscaping the complimentary colors, red and green, in color theory make them appear more vibrant.

Can someone tell me why they chose, and continue to, choose that red concrete paving. It don't seem to age well in the sun and it's such s bright colour I don't get it

@_thatonedolphin @ThemeParkLore @bioreconstruct It was in a rendering from a stardust racers video showing them moving. It appears there’s a lot of last minute cuts and changes to the Chronos as there are differences from the concept art and renderings in flythoughs which I believe were made not long before they were released.
