Filed with @ICOnews today for the data-breach element. Letter Before Action going to EG Vacation Rentals Ireland Ltd (the entity Vrbo's UK page identifies as the operator of vrbo.com/en-gb) this week, with Money Claim Online to follow if no resolution. Will update.

Result: I cannot safely pay the host directly (per Vrbo's own guidance). Vrbo will not process payment via their platform. Vrbo will not facilitate an alternative. £1,584.56 of non-refundable flights at risk. Family holiday at risk. VrboCare "Protected payments"? Not honoured.
