I built a Japanese inspired floor lamp using the Seigaiha wave pattern. More used to the wood, this is my first project using 3D printing techniques. Here is a thread to explain the different steps I followed.

Same process for all the sides. It was so much faster for the small sides.

I reproduced my drawings on the side wood panels, then used the scroll saw to cut them (lesson learned: don't cut long planks, it is a real nightmare as you can't fully rotate it and have to switch the blade direction every 5cm...)

I built a raised planter in Japanese garden style. It was also an opportunity to me to use a lot of scrap wood or other remaining material and test a scroll saw. A small thread to show the various steps while building it.

@WillMacNeil_VFX @PierreMaheut Thank you! I should indeed ideally not have to glue anything and only smoothly connect the different parts. However, I was not sure of the printing precision neither confident enough in designing proper connections for now, but will definitely try it for future projects.

As a general note, I am really grateful to all the available tools (Inkscape, Blender, Cura, etc.), knowledge and hardware we can use. This is such a great experience to design an object in 3D and craft it in the real world to match exactly what we want.

The final result is far from perfect, and there are several defects. However, I am still really happy with the result, especially for my first finished 3D printed project.
