It's peculiar how designers are still reinventing the button (not judging, just wondering). Does it mean other parts of the design process are less interesting and they try to express themselves through a button design? Or is it because the buttons are simply everywhere?

@visakanv @arlery Idk if this exists in Singapore, but I found specially filtered milk cartons at my grocery store that have 2x usual protein yet it’s still just 1-ingredient milk! It’s pricier than regular milk but the math per g of protein turned out to be cheaper than protein powder.

@arlery you mean like pre-prepared protein shakes? they're a little outside my comfort zone price-wise i think. maybe i should try them idk

@visakanv YES! I got fancy hexagon chopsticks and door pulls because I felt like it gave power and importance to a very hexagon-heavy project I’m working on.

one of my favorite nudges to give people is when they’re eyeing something that’s aesthetically related to the work that’s important to them, but it’s a little outside their comfortable price range – I love to persuade them that it’s worth it as a business/marketing expense
