Safe to say how Michael Jordan and @23XIRacing are taking the 2026 @NASCAR season personal

@DirtyMoMedia There’s always a fine line between a hero and an asshole.
English

@CHMetallicorey That wasn’t an open tire rule back then. Hoosier was the track tire but had more options for compound. And people complained the tracks rubbered down.
English

Dished wings. Open tire. Nuff said.

Wasn’t something like this created a few years ago? I hope this is a step in the right direction, but we need transparency and input from local to national level so the sport as a whole survives and grows.

@bobpockrass NASCAR seems to be preaching exclusivity on all fronts as a means to protect their brand, but why don’t they seem to have an issue if Larson or Bell run dirt, or Busch with Brexton.
Seems the bigger issue is with SRX getting ratings and upsetting status quo for execs
English

@BlakeAnderson It’s the opposite of the Ted Lasso quote “be curious not judgemental”. So many people assume it means one thing or another but will never read or ask questions to understand anything even more
English

@Kenny_Wallace This is more evidence of how disconnected nascar brass is from the actual racing world.
They need to be working with all series and grassroots. Keeps them connected to the fans and when “their” drivers win its a selling point.
English

@DigitalGashouse Yellow laps under 10-25 laps do not count, race must finish under green.
Not sure why fans have an issue with seeing more racing beyond the advertised distance.
Especially 20 years ago they complained when races did finish under yellow (2004 Aaron’s 499 at Talladega)
English

@CoreyLaJoie @Larkin8 Why not put the lap cars on the Inside line too
English

@Larkin8 Shoot why stop there? Let’s go single file restarts and racing back to the line after a caution.
English

@Motorsport Full 36 format.
Keep stages & points but no breaks.
Keep current point breakdown of 1 pt per spot.
Add bonus point for most laps lead again
10 bonus points for race winner.
Still emphasizes winning, while rewarding consistency and running well.

@GordyGundaker11 Agree it shouldn’t be happening, however some failures were setup related. We see it every year.
I also think that the tires don’t work into the surface like they used to. That may be bc of the low profile sidewall. Total assumption though.
English

Everybody in my comments saying this is what NASCAR wanted and Goodyear did what they were supposed to..
Having a tire that fades and makes you conserve is good. I agree 1000%.
Having tires blow out all day is not what anybody wants. Especially in a CHAMPIONSHIP race.
I also agree that the car is an absolute POS.
English

Awesome that @KyleLarsonRacin wins the @NASCAR championship. Need the extra income for @HighLimitRacing . It’s without Brads winnings too.
All Joking aside, congrats Kyle on the title and @Blaney for the win.
English

@BrandonWimmer I think when the Rear arms twisted and bent during crashes instead of snapping caused a lot less jarring through the body.
I do agree with the ratcheting belts, but feel the denser foam helps.
English

@KnoxvilleMoths @PortRoyalSpdway The front stretch and entering turn 1 used to be an experience. You and the concrete wall on one side, the concrete of the stage on the other, with the scoring tower. You couldn’t see the middle of 1. Now imagine that with no mufflers
English

The frontstretch @PortRoyalSpdway used to be 12 feet wide, apparently.

Doug Wolfgang, Kenny Weld, and now @RyanTimms_5T. Winners of Knoxville and the Tuscarora 50 in the same year. Well done kid!

@CHMetallicorey One launched over the backstretch fence and stuck in a tree 20 years ago
Just to show you how dangerous they can be
English

As I was prepping for this weekend’s Tuscarora 50 @PortRoyalSpdway with @HighLimitRacing, the cables lost their tension and my knee buckled trying to hold it. Broke my knee cap In half.
