@Taraxul @tax_oz @VodafoneAU If this hypothetical edge case was in fact true and they had a thought out technology strategy with an SLA/redundancy to meet the business needs, my hourly rate is x wouldn't be the content of his tweet. Achems razor, he had no technology strategy for SLA/redundancy.

@JC_CTS @tax_oz @VodafoneAU You don't think there's a chance some kind of recent disruption to normal work patterns might have forced him to work in unusual, temporary conditions where redundancy might not have been as much of a concern as just being able to work at all? Come on, man.

@Taraxul @tax_oz @VodafoneAU When you put it like that, no not surprised. I find amusing how people get so out or sorts when they don't get what they didn't pay for, or when they drop the im so important my hourly rate is x but aren't smart enough to think about business continuity.

@SnowManRunicnet @little_roe @tax_oz @VodafoneAU exactly... If its a critical service then you order and pay for a service with a SLA that matches the criticality. If no such service is avaliable then you put in mitigation strategies.
