@JClevemon @EpicClipVault Eh, in this case I think they still got it. Watching the whole video, this kid couldn't follow basic rules in jail for a few months. Kids like that are pretty much too far gone to be saved. All that can be done is to save the rest of us from his future actions.

Quick history lesson for the Justice: The Founding of the Fourteenth Amendment The Dred Scott v Stanford case is thought to be the catalyst for the Fourteenth Amendment, because in that case there was an argument claiming that people who were held as slaves were not citizens. To clarify so there would be no question that former slaves were in fact citizens of the United States, the Fourteenth Amendment was created. In Dred Scott v. Sandford, Justice Curtis expressed the opinion that under the Constitution of the United States: "every free person born on the soil of a State, who is a citizen of that State by force of its Constitution or laws, is also a citizen of the United States." “Section 1. All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.” We can understand the original purpose and intent of the Fourteenth Amendment. It was written to protect the citizenship rights of the newly freed slaves.   Slaves were “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” because for all intents and purposes their only home was the state and country where they were born and/or confined. The Fourteenth Amendment ensured the newly freed slaves would in fact be citizens with all the protections and duties under the U.S. Constitution. Further, a free person also had the right to leave the United States if they so desired. Citizenship was not a new confinement.
