The Subtle Suffering of Unsatisfactoriness 🪷 Buddhism speaks of Dukkha or Suffering, not just as physical pain, discomfort, or frustration but also as an underlying sense of unsatisfactoriness in life. Even in moments of pleasure, we can feel something is missing - like a beautiful flower that quickly withers, or a beautiful flower that is not up to our expectations. This restlessness reveals that life’s delights, though precious, never last forever, or, no matter what delights life offers, the Mind is still unsatisfied. The Buddha’s approach is not to deny our joys, but to see clearly that they are impermanent. By recognizing how we cling to these passing moments, we can gently let go of the tight grip on what we crave. This may help us uncover a more lasting peace - a still lake beneath the ripples of every changing mood. Following The Buddha’s teachings, we learn to soften our expectations and with mindfulness, embrace life as it is. In doing so, the subtle ache of unsatisfactoriness begins to dissolve, revealing a quiet space of understanding, compassion, and genuine contentment. This is the heart of walking the path: the realization that true peace grows from seeing clearly, letting go, and gently holding life with an open hand. 🙏🙏🙏 #Buddhism #Buddha #Buddhist #Philosophy #SPIRITUAL #spiritualawakening #MindfulMoments #Mindfulness #Mindful #meditation #Meditate #Dharma #compassion #Kindness
