Conduct detrimental covers a host of actions. It’s a catch all term for everything from being late to curfew, to saying the wrong thing to the media, to fighting in the locker room. It allows clubs to discipline players without specifying certain actions. I expect the Bulls to clarify if it also includes using the term “unrighteousness.” If so that’s an even bigger problem.

I tried staying quiet but this is so disappointing… I’m 100% for freedom of religious expression but not if it’s at the source of division. I really hope he finds the proper healing and guidance cuz he seems lost right now.

Don’t kill me for this one because I’m not religious & essentially oppose it as a thing, but… If America is a Christian country, how is Ivey being banned etc for being anti LGBT when those are Christian views?

@hess_blue_4ever @KuKhahil None of us know. Religion if a belief system. He believes he knows where his soul is going, but does he? Are all Christians also clairvoyant now? Buddhists believe in Nirvana, do you?

My thoughts are on this is simple: I’m sure the injuries, as he’s said, put him in a depressed state at time over the last year. And that sucks, don’t wish that on anyone. He was authentic with how much it affected him. With that said: the injury last year is not what caused him to go down this extremist, divisive route with Christianity. I, and multiple others, had said for 2+ years there was stuff going on with him. He was getting into this stuff years ago. Lastly, I hope for all people to get the help they need. However, there’s nothing that will really make me feel bad for someone who A: uses Jesus as a shield or reason, and misrepresent what he actually stands for in an effort to spread hatred and B: it doesn’t excuse some of the things he was saying publicly about groups of people in the last 3 days. Hope Ivey does get the help he needs, and from simply a believer in Jesus POV along with the help for his mental, I hope someone teaches him what Jesus is supposed to stand for in this faith which is love everyone, treat everyone how you’d want to be treated, and *all* of us fall short of perfection.* /fin *for all my non religious followers, promise this the last time you’ll see me dip into this religious bag publicly lol*
