@GWHayduke97 True! in Britain it is mostly grey, damp and windy. When the sun does actually shine it's not usually for very long.

It genuinely breaks my brain to imagine what 1400 hours of annual sunshine must be like to live in. When going to college in Chicago, I really struggled with the seemingly endless gray of the winters. Chicago gets 2500 sunshine hours!

Your feet could be the reason you can't rotate in the backswing & the downswing... All you need to do is add some foot flare & you'll be amazed at how much range of motion you can get by doing this 👇👇👇

@Adriksh Help me out - in "case 1", what happens when it hits the end brace? Does it go back to the "while()" condition? Or does it just keep going?

People think C is a strict language. C lets you casually weave a switch statement inside a while loop, break spacetime, and it compiles perfectly. Don't show this to Python developers, they will cry.

Running of any amount or speed reduces all-cause and cardiovascular mortality. Two things pop out here: 1. Most of the benefit comes from running any amount at all. 2. At very high amounts, benefit may be less than lower amounts. PMID: 25082581

My experience in working with narcissists is that, generally speaking, you have an extremely insecure individual pathologically overcompensating with a sense of godlike independence and confidence. It is, of course, a ruse they apply to their own mind to escape the pain of the extreme vulnerability and insecurity. An insecurity that is so pervasive that it would otherwise evoke a sense of terror and hysteria. To manage that "black hole", if you will, the narcissistic state is generated as a would-be antidote. However, this is unnatural, and it's a perfect example of attempting to make two wrongs produce a right. I also believe that it's impossible to properly understand cluster B disorders, of which narcissism is one, without looking at them on a spiritual spectrum. The degree to which the narcissist lacks a sense of spirituality and belief in a benevolent God is directly proportionate to the level of malevolence they are capable of. In the pure narcissistic state, there is no God, because they are God. These can be the most dangerous individuals on the planet. Arguably even more so than a psychopath. Though both are extremely dangerous. However, I want to emphasize that it is essential to understand these individuals not only psychoanalytically, but also spiritually. Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is defined as a mental health condition involving a pervasive pattern of grandiosity, a constant need for admiration, and a lack of empathy, typically emerging in early adulthood and affecting multiple areas of life. mayoclinic.org/diseases-condi… It impacts approximately 1% to 2% of the U.S. population, often causing significant distress through interpersonal conflicts and functional impairments. psychiatry.org/news-room/apa-… Narcissism operates on a spectrum, ranging from healthy self-esteem to pathological NPD, where traits become maladaptive and severely damage relationships. cpa.ca/psychology-wor… Grandiose narcissism presents overtly through arrogance and exploitation, whereas vulnerable narcissism involves hypersensitivity and avoidance behaviors. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10… The DSM-5-TR outlines nine criteria for NPD, requiring at least five for diagnosis: a grandiose sense of self-importance, preoccupation with fantasies of unlimited success, belief in one's special uniqueness, need for excessive admiration, sense of entitlement, interpersonal exploitation, lack of empathy, envy of others or belief others envy them, and arrogant attitudes. my.clevelandclinic.org/health/disease… These must cause clinically significant distress or impairment in functioning. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK55600… An alternative model emphasizes deficits in identity, self-direction, empathy, and intimacy. theravive.com/therapedia/nar… The origins of NPD are multifaceted, involving environmental factors such as overprotective or neglectful parenting that creates a mismatch between a child's experiences and reality. mayoclinic.org/diseases-condi… Genetic influences increase susceptibility if family members exhibit NPD traits. my.clevelandclinic.org/health/disease… Neurobiological differences, including reduced gray matter in empathy-related brain regions, also contribute to this condition. pnsoc.com/blog/what-trig… Childhood trauma, emotional abuse, or excessive praise disrupt secure attachment and foster narcissistic defenses. psychcentral.com/disorders/what… Parenting styles like helicopter parenting or extreme leniency reinforce entitlement and poor emotional regulation. psychcentral.com/disorders/what… Cultural emphasis on individualism and success in Western societies can heighten risk. pnsoc.com/blog/what-trig… A self-regulation model views narcissism as a pursuit of status through selective situations and responses. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC69… Core traits include grandiosity, characterized by exaggerated achievements and expectations of recognition, a lack of empathy shown by disregarding others' feelings, entitlement demanding favorable treatment with anger when denied, exploitation of others for personal gain without remorse, and envy combined with arrogance, creating constant relational conflict. psychiatryonline.org/doi/10.1176/ap… emedicine.medscape.com/article/151941… ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/books/NBK55600… Vulnerable forms add hypersensitivity to criticism and underlying inferiority. psychiatryonline.org/doi/10.1176/ap… Victims of narcissistic abuse endure chronic anxiety, hypervigilance, and derealization from sustained manipulation. authorea.com/users/853485/a… They develop low self-esteem, self-doubt, and cognitive distortions, including self-gaslighting. orlandotreatmentsolutions.com/how-narcissist… PTSD and complex PTSD affect 65-78% of victims, with flashbacks and emotional dysregulation. authorea.com/users/853485/a… Depression, hopelessness, and suicidal ideation emerge from isolation and invalidation. verywellmind.com/effects-of-nar… Physical symptoms like insomnia, headaches, and ulcers arise from prolonged stress. verywellmind.com/effects-of-nar… Brain changes include hippocampal shrinkage from elevated cortisol, impairing memory, and amygdala enlargement, heightening fear responses. fortworth-civil-attorney.com/blog/brain-dam… Post-abuse, trust issues, and fear of intimacy persist. charliehealth.com/post/the-long-… Somatic complaints and self-destructive patterns develop through trauma bonding. talkspace.com/mental-health/… Forensically, narcissists display criminal tendencies through manipulation and exploitation without remorse. psychologytoday.com/us/blog/inside… High narcissism predicts violent crimes among offenders. web.sbu.edu/psychology/lav… Grandiose types commit proactive violence, vulnerable reactive aggression. paloaltou.edu/resources/tran… Malignant narcissism combines NPD with antisocial traits, elevating murder risk. youtube.com/watch?v=yV5K6i… Vulnerable narcissism links indirectly to criminality via low self-control. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC86… Serial killers like Ted Bundy exhibit Dark Triad traits for control. psychiatrypodcast.com/psychiatry-psy… Masochistic-narcissistic traits correlate with violent crimes. sciencedirect.com/science/articl… Narcissism in killers involves grandiosity and enmity for profiling. link.springer.com/article/10.100… Treatment centers on psychotherapy to develop empathy and emotion management. mayoclinic.org/diseases-condi… CBT, DBT, and MCT challenge distorted thoughts and regulate responses. counselingcentergroup.com/therapy-for-na… Mentalization-based treatment enhances understanding of mental states, showing promise. psychiatrictimes.com/view/mentaliza… No medications directly treat NPD, but they address comorbidities like depression. mayoclinic.org/diseases-condi… Psychedelic-assisted therapy is explored for empathy enhancement, though unproven. sciencealert.com/can-narcissism… Challenges include low motivation and high dropout rates. sciencealert.com/can-narcissism… Customized approaches focus on insight and relational skills. bergencountytherapist.com/can-a-narcissi… The forensic analysis of narcissism reveals a disorder characterized by grandiosity, empathy deficits, and exploitative behaviors that cause profound harm to victims and society. Diagnostic criteria and spectrum models provide clear frameworks for identification, while multifaceted causes highlight the interplay of genetics, environment, and neurobiology in its development. Traits manifest in relational destruction, with victims enduring lasting psychological, physical, and neurological damage. Criminal correlations underscore narcissism's role in violence, from proactive aggression to serial predation, emphasizing risks when combined with antisocial traits. Treatment difficulties stem from inherent resistance to change, though psychotherapy offers pathways to mitigation. In summary, the evidence irrefutably establishes narcissism as a destructive force, with clinical, victimological, and forensic data converging on its maladaptive nature. Recognition of these patterns enables protection and intervention, reinforcing the imperative to avoid engagement with narcissistic individuals for personal and societal well-being. This comprehensive view supports calls for awareness and separation from such dynamics.

Ex-FBI agent Joe Navarro on dealing with narcissists: They're so toxic they'll harm you physically, mentally, emotionally, physiologically, or financially. Your body keeps the score — you'll pay a price just by staying close. No pill fixes them. No loyalty. No changing them. Get out as soon as you can. 50-sec clip — powerful warning Have you had to walk away from a toxic person? What was the sign?
