People need to stop acting like Rick Pitino is above it all He is just as willing to shove guys to the side as any other coach is Rick “loved” this dude throughout the szn, he was a leader in the locker room, set the tone. The second he gets a better pg, it’s “sorry Dylan”

NEWS: St. John’s transfer guard Dylan Darling has committed to Grand Canyon, source told @On3. The 6-1 junior made the game-winning layup to take down Kansas, sending St. John’s to its first Sweet 16 since 1999. on3.com/transfer-porta…

Yikes. I can’t believe that SJ doesn’t have a waiting list for their season tickets after two incredible seasons. This a major concern. PC has a waiting list in the hundreds after two unbelievably bad seasons. A true rock bottom moment for the Red Storm and @RealPitino

@bryandeno Nice equivocation. Consider taking him out? Or take him out? Games over. Make a decision. Bs comments here. As if Hurley did not consider it. You get paid for your comments? Seriously. Is this the best you got?

Braylon Mullins is now 2-14 in this game. It's not the kid's night. I know he's more than capable of hitting his next 3, but I would consider taking him out if I were Dan Hurley.

@DevonteGlazer So nil is good but no portal? How do players maximize their value. It’s like saying sure sell you product but no market allowed.

I just genuinely hate this. I could care less for nil. The athletes deserved to get paid. The portal is what’s ruined it, most of us grew up with Graham, frank, Svi, Garrett, plus all the 2022 core guys and many more that I’m missing stick around and develop to become KU heroes

Way too many whistles. James Breeding ending the college basketball season feels unfair.

I love how all the salty comments under this is about the portal & buying players. As if putting the right pieces together is easy. Dusty has adapted and hit home runs. This landscape allows resources to level the field. Select few have done better putting the puzzle together.

Dusty May took over a Michigan program that won 8 games two years ago. Two seasons later, he owns a Big Ten reg season title, a Big Ten tournament title, a 63-13 record and once official, a trip to the national championship game. May has built a monster in a very short period.

In the last 2 years @RealPitino is 4 -1 against UCONN and Hurley. But UCONN again in the National Championship game. #SJUBB Need to really put together the team that can win in the tournament. Staff is definitely up for the challenge. Start with a PG.

@NYPost_Brazille Agree Zach. Matt has a silly take on this. What does integrity have to do with this? We have a new nil system. It’s takes skill to assemble right players. Everyone competes within the new system. Integrity is a weird inappropriate word to use. Michigan competed fairly.

Matt Roberts, a Chapel Hill grad, is not wrong—especially from where he sits at College of Charleston. A kid gets to live in a city like Charleston, go to school for free, earn a degree, and still expects the portal to operate like consequence-free free agency? Matt is right. That is not real life. Go CoC Cougars.
Scott Eisberg@SEisbergWCIV

What a quote from CofC AD Matt Roberts. In part... "If they sit in that room and hear that speech from those 2 coaches and that's not good enough for them, get out of here. Get out of here, go somewhere else. If money is your motivator, you are not wanted at CofC. That is a direct message to those student athletes"

I see what Cayden Boozer was trying to do. He made the right decision it just was not executed correctly. He had two wide open teammates, Isaiah Evans and Patrick Ngongba, ahead of him down the court. He tried to get it to them. Right decision.

Still thinking about how bad of a decision it was for RJ Luis to not return to college this year. Got incredibly bad advice.

@JDBMediation @FoxNews You make a strong point about conservation, especially for older fish that play a big role in the population. At the same time some fishermen believe harvesting within regulations is acceptable. Don't you think ?

MONSTER CATCH: Florida Keys charter Capt. Jose Rodriguez Jr. had never come close to a 500-pound swordfish — until he and a Pennsylvania family reeled in a 480-pound giant, one of the biggest caught in the Keys in recent years. After a grueling five-hour battle, the family donated most of the catch around town, enough to feed much of the community. "The whole community was eating swordfish that day," Rodriguez said.

I’m sure you’re all annoyed of seeing the Adam Zagoria beef and I understand. But making up a scoop from an anonymous BE exec to chirp me about a terminal illness and an exchange with security that happened 2 seasons ago, is truly ghoulish. Simply can’t be a journalist and do that.
