@repmorgan @Rep_Magaziner @CBP Tell the whole truth! The so-called Big Beautiful Bill created a massive slush fund for ICE. There was no vote to defund. There was a vote to keep our airports in chaos and not give TSA workers paychecks and @SethMagaziner voted AGAINST continuing the chaos.

@repmorgan @Rep_Magaziner @RepGabeAmo @CBP @ICEgov Tell the whole truth!!! The Senate has passed a bipartisan deal to fund our TSA workers. This bill you’re referencing would delay funding our TSA workers and continue the chaos at airports. Thank you to @SethMagaziner and @gabeamo for fighting to get TSA workers paid!

Americans should not be paying more for medicine than the rest of the world. Too many families are getting crushed by outrageous prescription costs while middlemen and corporate players keep cashing in. That’s not healthcare. That’s a rigged market. Pillar 3: Affordability No more inflated costs. No more pricing games. No more letting middlemen eat up the money that should stay in your pocket. That’s why we need Most Favored Nation pricing. President Trump already took action through executive order. Now Congress needs to codify it into law so Big Pharma and the middlemen can’t undo it. This is how we stop overpaying. This is how we make healthcare more affordable. This is how we put money back in your wallet. — Vic Mellor 🇺🇸

@Rep_Magaziner Thank you, Congressman, for being a voice of reason. Why can't ICE abide by the same restrictions as our local law enforcement? We need reforms to make sure they are accountable for their actions just like police, state patrol officers, and sheriffs around the country.

We can and should vote today to fund TSA, FEMA and other critical agencies. But we are not going to throw billions of dollars more at ICE without real reforms.

@NRSC How much are gas prices where you live? Is that why you’re desperately trying to change the conversation?

@allymutnick Guessing that, if anything, the environment has deteriorated for Van Orden since the poll was conducted. Gas prices hitting even harder in rural areas in the northern midwest.

@StevenTDennis They don’t want Democrats to vote for it. They want to end the filibuster so they don’t have to consider compromises.

Lawmakers keep proposing new ways to pass the Save Act, but there is no way to pass it with a roll call vote* in the Senate without 1) 7 Democrats agreeing to end a Senate filibuster 2) Bypassing or nuking the Senate filibuster, which there are not presently the 50+ votes needed to do *Mike Lee has posited that Democrats could eventually make a mistake that would allow a lightning strike passage of the Save Act (ie, not having someone on the floor to object to UC)
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna@RepLuna

The SAVE America Act cannot procedurally be passed through reconciliation. The parliamentarian will strip out provisions like voter ID, etc. Any Republican senator claiming it can be done that way is LYING. The SAVE America Act only stands a chance if it is attached to FISA.

@RWrasse ICE already has literal billions in a slush fund. You’re saying people should just wait patiently until the slush fund runs out to suggest reforms?

@VicMellorForRI What Vic is not saying, but definitely knows, is that his policies would lead us back to a time when insurance companies can once again discriminate against people with preexisting conditions. Tell the WHOLE story Vic.

Healthcare in America is broken. 79% of Americans say the system is in crisis.
Premiums keep rising. Costs keep climbing. And families are stuck paying into a system they don’t control. That ends with Pillar 1: Personal Financial Control. We stop sending your healthcare dollars to insurance companies and bureaucracies and start sending them directly to YOU. Your own account.
Your own decisions.
Your own future. This is what real reform looks like: Your money follows YOU; not the system.
Unused dollars roll over and grow; not disappear.
You can invest in prevention, wellness, and real care; not just “sick care.” And here’s the truth: 73% of Americans support this model.
67% are more likely to support leaders who fight for it. Because people are done “renting” healthcare.
They want to OWN it. This is how we take back control.
This is how we lower costs.
This is how we build a true Wellness Economy. And I will fight to make it happen. — Vic Mellor 🇺🇸

@repmorgan Why does this disparity exist? What, in your opinion, is the cause of the disparity? You need a diagnosis of the problem before you can offer real solutions.

@ChrisCillizza Rhode Islander here. Foulkes is not well loved but will win by default if no other challenger emerges. But there’s definitely room to the left.

@Sean_Callahan Only one airport in Houston has had problems (IAH). Might be worth flying Southwest out of Houston Hobby to OMA on the way back.

Rhode Islanders ! You have been paying a heavy price for Democrat politicians need to continuously bring illegal immigrants in to our state to maintain their power. Every illegal alien who comes into our state and takes benefits, occupies apartments with housing vouchers, clogs our emergency rooms for free healthcare, sends their ill-prepared children to our schools and demands instruction in their native language, gets free food, child care and utility assistance, and receives social security, for which they have never contributed one dime, is taking the money of hardworking citizens who go to work every day and struggle to pay their bills. It is wrong! It must stop! They must return to their own countries.

Murkowski said today that under the SAVE Act, a couple in remote part of Alaska would have to take flight to Anchorage at a cost of $2,000, bring/fund/secure documents, spend a day off work, maybe leave kids at home: ie, a huge burden. She also strongly opposes objects to immediate effective date so people can’t plan such trips.

At 20 airports in the U.S., security screening is handled not by the TSA, but by private companies… And their checkpoints aren’t seeing long lines. Airports like SFO, MCI (Kansas City), SFB (Orlando Sanford), and 17 smaller facilities participate in TSA’s Screening Partnership Program which uses contractors at checkpoints. cnn.com/2026/03/21/us/…
