Last week was my last week with @WSMERCURY and @NSomTimes after nearly five years. A massive thank you to all the players, staff and clubs I’ve worked with during that time. It’s sad it’s come to an end but I’m looking forward to the future and the exciting times ahead.

Back in 2019 I put together a documentary on Webster, where I spoke to former teammates, friends and his family. What I uncovered was just how special he was, and an important reminder that February 6, 1958 should always be remembered. Here it is - m.youtube.com/watch?v=L0k_iu…

Whilst we right remember everyone who lost their lives, we should never forget the contributions by the players, such as Webster, and staff who kept the flag flying for United and ensuring there was still a club that is revered all around the world.

It’s been 68 years since the #MunichAirDisaster, where 23 people sadly lost their lives. However, we should always remember the contributions by the players and staff left behind.

With the heaviest of hearts everyone at Afan Lido FC is devastated to learn of the tragic passing of Ioan Evans. We don’t really have the words to adequately express our grief at this time. Ioan loved being a Lido player, a committed club man, and he was immensely popular.
