@caribbeanpotter Can see Robins trying, but two ageing players in their thirties whose legs are gone/going are 100% not what is needed.

@JDSCFC All managers love to sign their faithful old retainers.

Milan Smit signing permanently for a few million even though the manager doesn’t play him or rate him - well done Stoke 👏

The Club can confirm its annual retained list, which has been submitted to the EFL.

@JonnyPotter87 Creativity is a massive issue which doesn’t help them at all, but our strikers are still shite regardless. I genuinely wouldn’t keep a single one on the books.
English

@bayernoatcake2 Fully agree with the ‘it’s all bad luck’ comment, that’s what a majority of the fanbase are still holding on to rather than wanting Robins and Walters out. It’s far deeper than injuries.
Take no pleasure in it but we’ll see what happens come Sep/Oct time & we’re in the bottom 5.
English

This is actually an excellent dossier of why Walters and Robins should have been sacked yesterday.
No one holding themselves to account and the feeling that it’s all bad luck.
It paints them both in such a bad light.

@Tom71781 @PeteSmith1983 Definitely been playing like they’ve been cutting back on training, that’s a fact!
English

@JDSCFC @PeteSmith1983 I’m assuming they’re referring to cutting back on training during the injury crisis, which Robins has alluded to? I’d imagine training was significantly more intense when we didn’t have bodies becoming injured every other day, and we’re now going to return to that upon returning

@StokeTom_____ Is that 18 losses out of the last 32 games? That is shambolic 😂😂 can’t wait til we keep Robins, then sack him in September/October when we’re in the bottom 5 after giving him the full transfer window.
English

@TomH_1863 It’s because he did well at Cov and he’s more likeable than most ex-gaffers we’ve had. And benefitting from the ‘we can’t keep sacking managers’.
The fact is our run since January is relegation form and after 18 months, we still don’t have a clear style of play or any progress.
English

@northstokie Walters out. We all know Coates is shit, but he’s effectively enabling a bloke with no experience or competence in the role to run the club, it’s absolutely farcical.
English

Just a reminder that £1.8m of the £33m is Ben Gibson's £35k/week
Chris@CWeatherspoon_
We now have a full slate* of wage bills for last season's EFL Championship Top three all include promotion bonuses: £19m at Leeds, undisclosed at Burnley and Sunderland Average of non-promoted, non-parachute clubs: £30.8m wages v £28.4m revenue (wages/rev: 108%) *No Sheff Wed

@SholaMos1 Have a word with yourself you contemptible muppet. A bloke who just stabbed two innocent people & was still in possession of a knife, still posing a threat to the public and officers, not under control and not listening to commands. And you’re more bothered about some force used?
English

@KNTFootball Got some ability and technique and will probably play well in a better side but for me, not strong enough and hides too often in games. Awful output in terms of goals and assists too. Always seemed like he thought he was better than Stoke too 🤷🏻♂️

🏴🆕 | 1st tier journo Seo Ho-jung reports Bae Jun-ho has changed agents and is looking to part ways with Stoke City this summer.
Not surprising to hear—Junho being benched lately seemed to hint that a split might be coming. 😞
In the end, he didn’t meet the expectations set after his strong first season, but a change of environment could benefit both him and Stoke, especially if they secure a good transfer fee.
With the World Cup ahead, he’ll still have an important role to play—particularly with Lee Jae-sung’s injury—and a strong showing could boost his value.
All in all, I remain a big Bae Jun-ho fan. He just needs a fresh start, like Oh Hyeon-gyu. As a supporter of Stoke, I'm disappointed it hasn't worked out in this stage of his development at Stoke, but part of that is just football.
I hope he can finish his time here well and that my Stokies could remember him for the memories he did provide and get some value from selling him. 🙏🫡🇰🇷

@PeteSmith1983 Signing Smit permanently is an absolute joke and perfectly encapsulates how shambolic the club truly is. Not good enough, blatantly unwanted by the manager, and going to cost us a few million which will take up a good chunk of our budget. Pathetic #WaltersOut

Last week of season Stoke City squad audit: keep, sell, loan, buy or return (with added widget for your own participation). stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football…
English

@PeteSmith1983 All talk and no substance. Stands on the touchline with his hands in his pockets while the team collapse in front of him week in week out, and he comes across so dour & uninspiring in interviews. It’s his job to motivate players. Notwithstanding, 3 wins in 19 is relegation form.

Mark Robins: We need to get on and do some work and be ruthless, whatever it takes. stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football…?
English

@peteoconn But he has been the manager for 18 months and is responsible for signing a good portion of those players. How many years consecutively are we gonna say we’ve got a bunch of mercenaries? The club is so systematically rotten it’s beyond belief.
