10/30 Saudi Prince MBS had spies inside Twitter, who was cracking down on dissidents living abroad, particularly in the US & Canada. 2 former Twitter employee were sentenced to 3 Yrs in prison. It is possible that the Saudi Gov was also tracking Jamal Khashoggi's movements.
