I still don’t understand the gap in public perception vs. actual accomplishments regarding Lomachenko, especially when his fellow countryman Usyk has proven to be a much better pro boxer. It’s a reminder that intangibles are absolutely crucial at the highest level of boxing.

Eye test. Usyk is the more accomplished boxer but that absolutely does not mean he’s a better pro boxer than Loma. Usyk never had to fight anyone with the skill level of a Devin Haney (a fight most believe Loma won), for example. Not an apples to apples comparison.
