@lilchicklets78@HamillHimself Don't misunderstand, I don't condone their actions. I just don't think it's as easy to prove legally as everyone believes.
@lilchicklets78@HamillHimself Btw, in order to get a conviction for seditious conspiracy, the government must prove that the defendant in fact conspired to use force. Simply advocating for the use of force is not the same thing and in most cases is protected as free speech under the First Amendment.
@lilchicklets78@HamillHimself Your point was that Twitter is a private company and can therefore do what it wants. I just used an example that seems to counter it. (Private companies that were told to provide a service that they disagreed with.)
@lilchicklets78@HamillHimself So if I own a bakery and I don't want to provide wedding cakes for same-sex couples, that's OK? If that's true then what was everyone in an uproar for?
@HamillHimself For those of you commenting on how Free Speech is being silenced, may I remind you that Twitter is a privately owned business that can do whatever they want with their platform. People have been suspended for far less. #Quityourcrying
@MsONeillScience@TeachMrReed Yesterday's events were horrible and shocking, but I don't feel that it's the same as 9/11. (Just my opinion) That said, the phrase "domestic terrorism" was definitely be brought up for discussion.
@TeachMrReed Interesting you mentioned 9/11. I just had texted my team that this is definitely invoking the same feelings I felt on 9/11 and then I saw your tweet.
Teachers create an entire unit to discuss the terrorism on 9/11. So, tomorrow are y’all gon be talking about the terrorism taking place in D.C. or...? 🤔🤔
@Mustang36392426@NevadaFootball Then you're of the opinion that they shouldn't have played the season at all then, I suppose? That bridge had already been crossed. (I do understand where you're coming from tho. May you have a blessed new year! )
I told my scholars they could leave a little early from virtual class today. Looked up after a minute and there were still 5 kids in the Google Meet. Smh haven’t been listening to a thing I said 😩
@TeachMrReed Ha! I got you beat! While I am aware of that show, I know little to nothing about it bc I'm so old! Now if you want the lore of Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Mr. Peabody and Sherman, or Super Chicken (world's greatest theme song!) I'm your guy! 🤣
I try to watch 5-10 minutes of a video my students like every day in class to connect with them deeper. Today when I played a show I used to watch as a kid (Dexter’s Lab), they broke my heart with their response 💔😔 #distancelearning
@unbrelieveable If this wasn’t a cartoon created and illustrated by adults. I can get on board with the usage of lawn chairs or even boxes as chairs. But Franklin alone on one safe while all others have chairs and are squeezed together
@DanJewell12@LADYDAY93_TJFGG@jelani9 Different question. Why did everyone decide to squeeze in together so not to sit with Franklin? Leaving him alone and with the raggedy chair. Also who sets a table that way?
@EssexBarrister Mind you, I'm not discounting how you feel. I just think some sort of ID would eliminate a variable and make it easier for you to get through to those who refuse to see.
I thought I’d explain what happened today because I’m absolutely exhausted and tbh I think a light needs to be shone on this. Especially given so many people like me seem to experience the same thing.
