Governor Evers used a creative line-item veto, one of the most powerful in the country, remember not even POTUS has such power anymore, to raise property taxes for 400 years.
Passing this would limit such future destructive workarounds.

The Wisconsin State Senate just advanced a proposed constitutional amendment that would ensure no governor in the future could use their veto powers to raise taxes unilaterally. The question goes to voters this fall. No governor should have the power to unilaterally raise taxes
