Targeted the right areas for transfers despite that being an unpopular take among tacticos and many fans back then. The recruitment more or less was right. I know people don’t want to give credit for Sesko and Lammens transfers. End of the day, he could have blocked those transfers. The transfers went through after his approval.

This league will regret ignoring Carlos Baleba early. Carlos might be out of form at Brighton at the moment but Carlos Baleba 2024/2025 was a beast in the midfield, an engine and dominant DM. He plays as a deep lying playmaker and also a destroyer DM. His ceiling is high as a young player and shouldn’t be ignored. At the AFCON he was dictating the play from deep in the midfield with through balls, range of passing, winning duels and possession also. While, other clubs overlooks what a player he is, Manchester United can get him and have a world class DM for years.

I remember once upon a time when we only knew keke (trycycle) through india movies. When it was banned in those Asian countries, because it constitute dirt in their environs/ countries, we now saw an influx of these same " dirt" into +234. Courtesy: Nigerian government. As at this time, jeke was just 100k . Now look, keke (trycycle) is well over 6M naira depending on the brand. E.g Bajaj , TVS etc. This same keke now liters the whole country making everywhere looks so dirty and constituting nusiance. @RisingGemsz Depends on the price. Stuttgart can buy back the €40m release clause for €2m, so who knows what the asking price would be. At €40m, the move makes sense as a Wharton alternative. Much more and I think his defensive frailties means it becomes quite expensive.

Angelo Stiller is a risk, but he’s definitely worth the gamble for what he brings—and at the price he’d likely go for, it just makes sense. You can bet Christopher Vivell will want a signing of his own, and I have a feeling it’ll be Stiller, especially with the rumors that Anderson might join City and the uncertainty around Tonali. A midfield three of Stiller, Mateus Fernandes, and Baleba as our main midfield signings would be top-tier. I wouldn’t even mind Adam Wharton instead of Stiller, but purely for the financial side and the overall balance, Stiller, Baleba and Fernandes makes total sense.
