@0rangeChevrolet Alright, that is definitely better 😆 The windshield falls in the uncanny valley that the boomers cars did back in the day with the T-bird to shoebox Ford or '57 Chevy did though.

2018 Chevy Silverado undergoes partial body swap transforming into a 1972 K10

@0rangeChevrolet I've seen a couple of these throwback trucks around. I love the idea, but I always think they look a little awkward because the paint line has no good body line to follow, and they end up intersecting the wheel arch. Cool idea, just don't like it on the busy bodies of today.

@Azzy1047 One of the worst GM products ever. Good luck, hope you find it quickly!

on day 2 of trying to find where voltage is dropping in the front blower motor circuit (cause the power wire routes to the rear blower and returns to the front) :))))

I HATE CHEVY TRAVERSES BRO

@Spottyroo I mean no offense to you, but Jeep people frustrate me🤣 You know the ones I'm talking about. 42y/o bartenders, salt life stickers, ducks, and not a thought between the ears.

Just to update, unsurprisingly the owner did not like this answer and said it’s been fine all these years and doesn’t see why he should re-gear it.
Well, let’s see. It has almost 150k miles on it now and while there is history of fluid services, don’t you think that transmission might also be getting worn out now? I wonder why….

I’m sure someone out there will cry BS but whatever. This is what I’m going with.

@AzzyDesignWorks Aftermarket caps are really crap nowadays, hell even the dealer caps aren't great. A "very small leak" is classified as 20thou or smaller, so those dumb gaskets are frequently the culprit.
English

Is it just me, or anyone else have to change gas caps every year or so after they switched to these stupid "C"seals instead of a proper o-ring? Old gas caps used to last.
Printing a normal profile one in TPU right now to check. Curious if it makes the evap code go away, because there are no leaks in the Jeep.

@NigelBest5 Growing up I had a thick skull and apparently magnets behind my eyes. First one I never noticed and didn't feel, then at lunch a friend asked why my eye was so red, I hadn't ground anything in 3 days. That one had to be drilled. The other 2 were just a quick Dremel 🤣
English

He dug it out with a cute little chisel then free handed a fancy little Dremel tool (unsettling) to touch up the rust tattoo. It’s sunny, my numb is wearing off, nobody in town has #5 shade welding glasses and Applebees is the darkest place I can find to wait on my drops.

Looking forward to the ophthalmologist pulling this little piece of rusty metal out of my eyeball this afternoon. The PA dyed it and tried it but chickened out. Been cutting into the back of my eyelid and my screen time since Sunday.

@brollbenny I'm 4 miles away from TMI and have TONS of customers that work there. Security, operations, engineering, HR, you name it. I always believed the rumor that the guns weren't real or weren't loaded, until I chatted with a security guy🤣 They are very much real.

When I worked at Three Mile Island we had a truck catch on fire in the north laydown area. That truck caught two other trucks on fire.
Most half decent training scenarios start with a diversion and I'm pretty sure we *all* thought we were about to be attacked.
I was a relief officer during the event, so I didn't have an assigned position to protect, so I grabbed some body armor and used it to cradle my rifle, got myself out an extra mag.
A plant employee walks past me nonchalantly and quips "seems like a weird time to drill" (it was 2am) and I said "It's not a drill, go take cover" and I watched as I'm pretty sure he shit his pants.
Funny side quest story here: I was the officer that searched in the fire trucks. There are tons of rumors about TMI, one of which is that our rifles have empty mags in them. One of the firemen said "I heard those aren't even loaded" so I dropped my mag and showed him. For *reasons* we had one silver round at the top of the mag, and he asks "why is there a silver one?"
Without missing a beat, I looked him dead in the eyes and just said "Werewolves"

This has never happened to me but I imagine it is a terrible and helpless feeling to watch your car burn. This is a time lapse of the car fire on SB 25 near Larkspur that still has the right lane closed. Doesn't sound like anyone was hurt.
English

@dexcooldrinker Going through the same shit in the Mazdaspeed. Like if it were a customer car, I would have figured it out right away, but since it's mine, my brain turns off. This is week 6😆🤣
English

@WillieDJenkins1 I worked on a ton of these back in the day, enough spaghetti to make a Nona cry😆 The older carb'd models are even more spooky.
English

@Spottyroo I had a Titan last week with an E-Locker that I pressed 3 sets of bearings on an axle, only to find out they are "not serviceable" and the bearing is serviced as an assembly with the axle. You are doing fine, it's only annoying because it's yours.
English

Starting to debate even working on cars anymore. Things just don’t seem to work out so well for me despite doing things right. It’s why I fought the Yukon over and over and eventually gave up. Now this one is fighting me too. I just wanted to replace some diff bearings and now I’m pulling it out for a third time.
English

@Azzy1047 I'm half tempted to buy that tool set. I have always done them with multiple sets of vice grips and a whole lot of prayer😆😆
English

@meowmasterZ32 😆 na. Just mostly used garbage from other exploded engines. only new parts were the cam and the cheapest pos crankshaft advance auto had to offer.
