Dire Marsh Sponsored is an interesting idea that could be iterated on:
- higher tiers of weapons and armor drop much more often to make looting more fun, but they're restricted so you can't take them with you
- lower cooldowns for class abilities to make combat more frenetic and exciting
- some sort of system to herd players closer together for more fights over time, a radiation cloud closing, something like that
- maybe only one team extracts from a final zone after all the other teams are dead, and if they do, they get a lot more XP and rep, even if they have to give up that higher tier gear and start over with nothing
- then you load in and do it all again! Now that sounds like a hit concept to me

Can someone explain to me, as eloquently as you can, why some people want #Marathon to fail and will actively try to dismiss anything positive about Marathon?
I know there's people who think Marathon failing will help Destiny somehow, I think they're wrong, but why else?

This really shows the knife nerf being too much, it should do less damage to shields and more to flesh so you can still 1 hit a downed player. It only makes sense too that the knife would do less to shields.

This is genuinely the dumbest thing Ive ever seen. You can down 3 players and still lose because you cant finish them fast enough solo before they all 3 self res. Sugi literally lost the fight by winning the fight? Wtf kind of dumbass logic is that??

@Timothy_Mark7 @persistantz @Gamesager Inside pin wheel right in the center there’s a locked room that you need 3 red key cards to open now you can’t miss it. It used to be 2 reds and yellow to open but they changed it maybe that’s why guides are confusing you.

@NextGenNero We had it so good before forced crossplay. And now if you turn it off it only matches you with others who have, which is a very small pool most dont even know about it. So your Q times are like 15 minutes. We had it so good ps3-ps4 gen.

Genuinely I dont even know what battleye does because it seems like none of these cheaters ever have any problem getting their cheats to work on the game and none of them ever seem to get detected either because they cheat for months without being banned

Hot Take Dissapointed most Marathon streamers feel obligated to play Ranked. It isn’t fun, and you’re exposing yourself to stream snipers & cheaters in one of the worst game genres. Why this sucks as a fan of the game, is that people are constantly exposing their fans & viewers to the worst Marathon has to offer. This isn’t going to convince anyone to stay on the game, let alone buy the game. The vibe from creators shifted from hyping the game & showing off the best of Marathon to an already burnt-out topic, cheaters & stream snipers. This isn’t blaming creators, honestly. It can be taken that way, so my b. I’m a fan of the game and avoiding ranked seems like the best thing I can do as a creator if I want to see Marathon grow. Ultimately, this is on Bungie. Always has & always will be. It’s embarrassing. Big talk about no cheating policy. They succeeded at baiting people with that & being one of the first extraction games with ranked. This is going to backfire badly if they don’t take some form of action. A game convo being surrounded by cheats, an extraction game, is going to do irreperable damage to the game’s image & their player morale. Thanks for reading. :)
