@MrKdub If they greet me and are friendly, I'll buy something, and I may even buy singles with little or minimal haggling. If they aren't friendly or interested, I probably won't be either. Once I'm a regular hopefully the friendly continues... and negotiation is part of the deal.

Always interesting when you visit a sports card shop; one you have never been to before in a town you have never visited & the owner proceeds to tell you & your 10-year-old son within the first 15 minutes EVERYTHING that is wrong with current sports card hobby. 🤦‍♂️ #TheHobby

@CardPurchaser Anybody got a spare 2026 Topps Series 2 #610 Brooks Lee? Two jumbos and two super boxes and I still couldn't complete a 351-700 base card run. Sheesh, @Topps, how about some better collation?

@JfkCards We don’t have that view from our house but it is mere moments to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I could be at a sunset view at almost 5000 ft elevation in 6 minutes from my front door.

@JfkCards I am a professional landscape photographer, the ease of access to amazing scenery here is perfect for me.

Sadly, my dad passed last night after a steep decline in his health. Dad and I were close and did a lot of things together over the years. From when I was little, I can remember fishing with him on weekends in the summer, for several years we golfed in a Father/Son Golf tournament in Myrtle Beach, and then we transitioned to bowling in the USBC Open Championships. The last pictures was from a fishing trip to Ontario I had hoped to recreate. In the last year he often said I was the one who made him do the things he didn't want to do. Unfortunately, we didn't get to experience any additional adventures I hoped we would have after moving him back to Michigan. A few of you have been wonderful checking in on me regularly. Thanks so much. It's been a rough ride, but he's in a better place now. A few pictures of us!

@CardPurchaser Does anyone put new cards in binders anymore? I love the nostalgic idea of it but not sure if it would damage the card.
