The FBI tracked and stopped an Antifa cell that had full National Guard uniforms and several gallons of toxic chemicals in their possession. Investigators believe they were on their way to hit one of the other major fountains in DC.
They weren’t just planning to vandalize — they were planning to do it while disguised as National Guard soldiers.
This is the same group that’s already attacked the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool with chemical algae and rust. Now they’re escalating with disguises and larger quantities of toxins.
These aren’t random kids throwing paint. This is a well-organized, well-funded domestic terrorism network that is actively trying to destroy national monuments while pretending to be law enforcement.
The fact that they had National Guard uniforms shows they were ready to blend in and cause maximum damage before anyone could stop them.
Thank God the FBI caught them before they reached their target.
