@LordofCinder24 @Cody87146068 dark souls 1 was marketed as the hardest game ever made „prepare to die“ that was on bandai tho. fromsoft themselves said that that wasnt their intention. and somehow most people think that dark souls is just about being a hard game.. dismissing everything else in the game

@Cody87146068 The night lords are a very small portion of content in the game. I repeat, the game was built and marketed around it being a go fast, asset flip. Also many of the bosses are just reworked assets found in other games, and it's noticeable.

They made AC6 which is the most accessible AC game made, and they made an asset flip game built around "going fast" Nightreign is not an experimental game, it's a cheap game banking off a popular trend.

@ToriShadow02 @Xuanathame people care about the multiplayer though, sekiro got lots of hate from souls fans bc it didnt had any multiplayer in it. people do love souls pvp, they just hate it when they loose

@Xuanathame Elden Ring is the highest selling fromsoftware game by miles so no, the multiplayer doesnt mean all that much

"Elden Ring critiques" always conveniently leave out how Elden Ring has the worst multiplayer in the series and how detrimental that is to the game as a whole because none of them understand how important Multiplayer is to souls games

@Xuanathame Its like kinda important but also not really lol most people loathe pvp too so they dont bother to interact with it. Truth nuke is every game since ds1 ruined pvp further and further. Just take it out, weapons are too complicated and netcode is too shit.

@thunderba11r As someone who played and platinum both versions I can tell you the remake is an exact replica of the og with gorgeous graphics and a few QOL changes that will make your life easier

As someone who’s never played the original DeS the Demon’s Souls Remake still doesn’t quite land for me. It feels like a game that tried to make a Souls game feel like other big budget studios rather than update the game to feel like a modern FromSoft game.

They said in 5-6 years, with a 3 years cycle with 3 studios so one releases yearly like CoD. But those studies haven't even been setup yet, the studio who made Hardline haven't been around for 8 years and DICE LA changed it's name to Ripple Effect Studios and is just a support company for DICE. They are definitely not on track to be releasing a BF title in 2027

There is a zero indication or even reason to believe there will be another BF title in 2027 They wanted to make 2042 the 10 year live service game, they failed, they will probably try to do that with BF6 instead Maybe another studio will make a spin off BF title, but I honestly doubt that as all those offices got gutted and it would cut into BF6's possible trajectory It'll probably be around 2028/29 before we get another mainline BF, depending on how BF6 does in the coming years.
