@BTRowland Hield at $10M was a strongly negative value. I don’t understand why including that contract would help them make a trade instead of hurt them. I know matching salary, etc, but what team what’s that salary on their books?

Still getting a barrage of Buddy Hield questions... 1) I'm almost as surprised as you are that he's still on the team at the guaranteed number near $10 mill 2) Chatter has been pretty quiet after the first few hours. Possible that something they thought was close fell through.

If the Braves acquired Sonny Gray and ate most of the $$ to reduce the prospect return and gave up a decent piece to rent Casey Mize, would that be enough in your eyes? Those two basically equal the financial savings of Profar + you'd still have money for bat(s)
