Tom, @RepJasonCrow, @RepAndyKimNJ & colleagues are urging the admin to continue aggressive efforts to protect vulnerable Afghans & evacuate those eligible from HKIA. We have a moral obligation to ensure our partners the safe, secure, & humane passage to a new home.

60+ Afghan civilians dead in the blasts, including children. At least 12 US servicemembers who risked and gave their lives in ferrying others to safety. Our hearts are with their families, and with all those braving the conditions on the ground. We must not fail them now.
