@JGreenFarm Yeah the strips pictured are from my units. Still have a mix of Gladiator units and my ST1 units on here. Might switch all of them this fall. Wanted to go another season first.

I seen a guy here on X that was making a y drop but it was more lightweight than 360 ydrops. He was running 120’
I don’t remember what he called them. He was a farmer just starting to make them.
Any help?

@sean_nettleton To be fair the strips look good because ground conditions are good and the beans were cut real early.
We do run a unique setup tho. Dual row cleaner mounts of our own design, now available from Yetter & SurePoint respectively.
Might not be practical but gets the job done…

You know it’s the time of year to be done when you have to turn the lights on at 4:30 to dim the screens in the cab.

@CDeklotz Several around and they do a nice job but the custom guys that have them say they struggle to make them seal in tough conditions, even with the mole knife conversion.
That and the wear issues that people talk about… guess that’s kept us from looking at them seriously.

@Bkitch1Bodie Get at least 1 cable in the center of the bin. That’s where the problems always start. “Nip it in the bud”
Highly recommend power exhaust fans in the roof, tied to an automated system. Humidity gets too high in headspace it kicks the fan on. Critical system, imo.

@JGreenFarm Talked about it. Haven’t done anything yet. Can reclaim every bushel and “core it” without having to load it out of the system so may jus keep things moving this first year

I don't have answers. But I do know corn is moving much, much faster than the past couple of years. I am of the opinion we are cooking the top end, but maybe the poorer soils (drier) will bring the bottom up for the average. They make "average" up anyways. Let's see August.

Selling our strip till bar. Case 950- 16R. Prefer to sell complete with our dual row cleaner setup but would sell less cleaners.

We can make strips that we are very satisfied with, even in tough conditions. Versatility to run as a conventional toolbar.
