@MRittCGS @PaFootballNews Here is an idea. PA and OH have by far the most college football teams of any state in the Union. If you are a high school player in PA or OH you might not need a Rec Coord due to the abundance of opportunities. But if you are in Kansas or Oklahoma…..

To clarify my earlier point, I’m not singling out Pennsylvania programs Across the country, many programs have found value in having a staff member serve as a Recruiting Coordinator. This role provides a clear point person for college programs and helps take some responsibilities off the head coach’s plate, allowing them to focus more on coaching and program management. It’s also a great opportunity for an assistant coach to expand their role, build relationships with college staffs, and strengthen their résumé in the profession. And to be clear, I’m simply saying that every program should consider having someone in this role, as it can be a valuable addition to a staff structure

Every high school football program should consider designating a staff member as a Recruiting Coordinator. This role can help streamline communication with college programs and alleviate some of the recruiting-related responsibilities that often fall on the head coach. It doesn’t require hiring an additional staff member this can be a valuable opportunity for an assistant coach to expand their role, build their résumé, and develop relationships with college programs. Having a dedicated point person for recruiting helps ensure that athlete information, film, and communication with college coaches are organized and handled efficiently, ultimately creating more opportunities for players in the program

I can remember when school administrators and even some teachers told parents to stop letting their kids play football because the sport would be gone in 5 years or less. That was 2016. 👀
