Just had the 'The Welcome to the Major' with @JHUArtsSciences @JHUmath! @JHU_Math_DUS gave a great overview of the major and I loved hearing all the reasons why students wanted to major in Math. You could tell they were pumped and I'm excited for them!

I always introduce non-separable differential equations by asking students to solve y' = x + y, which they generally aren't equipped to do. Occasionally students intuit an answer, but a student did this today, which I've never seen before. Brilliant! #math #mathchat #APCalc
