The Penguins look like a team that would have benefitted from using one of those three meaningless games at the end of the regular season as a dress rehearsal for this.

Zero of a performance from Pens tonight. Skinner only reason it wasn’t worse. Flyers frustrated them in neutral zone, took away half-wall in the Flyers zone, anticipated Pens’ puck movement all over the ice. Tocchet had them ready. Maybe all that rest counter-productive.

CJ Carr demonstrated A+ quarterbacking during Notre Dame's scrimmage today. Worked the whole field. Often found his third or fourth reads for productive gains. Made plays with pressure in his face. Accurate to all levels of the field. I've only been around for a few years, but I've never seen a Notre Dame quarterback command an offense in practice like Carr did today.
